From a male perspective, I notice the hair and tile stains. After I am done using the bathroom, I get the broom and dustpan to clean up the hair; then notice the toilet needs to be cleaned and do that, too. I need to clean the tiles, but like you, I also think about replacing them...then consider the cost. <br /><br />My point is, you are definitely not alone, and almost all households deal with the same issues. Your way is different, but I wouldn't call it weird. <br /><br />Again, thanks for sharing thoughts that few of us publicly address. Good luck with getting your bathroom (as well as the rest of the house) the way you want it. It is NEVER a final goal, but a routine, ongoing, process. A little work here and there, at least once a week, will keep things safe enough to live in.
